A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLERK-TREASURER TO MAKE A FUND ADJUSTMENT OF $251.32 TO BALANCE OUT THE CALENDAR YEAR OF 2004

WHEREAS, the Village bank account balance reflects Two Hundred Fifty-One Dollars and Thirty-Two Cents ($251.32) not reflected in the General Fund balance system; and

WHEREAS, the General Fund needs to reflect this balance to “balance the books” for the year ending 2004; and

WHEREAS, to accomplish this, Village Council must authorize an adjustment into the General Fund in this amount;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY VILLAGE COUNCIL

  1. Village Council authorizes an adjustment into the General Fund in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty-One Dollars and Thirty-Two Cents ($251.32) to “balance the books” for the year ending 2004.

  2. It is hereby found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its Committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.

  3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, for the reason that it is necessary to made fund adjustments in order to keep the financial records for the Village of Mantua accurate, and for that reason and other reasons manifest to Council, this resolution shall take effect, immediately upon proper passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
