Buchert Park Lodge

The community center, located in the center of Buchert Park,  has proven to be a great place for community gatherings. Tables and chairs and kitchen facilities are available. The lodge seats XXX, and is central to the park's playground and recreation equipment, with plenty of parking.

If you need a place for a reception, wedding dance, birthday party or meeting, call the Village Hall to make a reservation.

History

Our community center was originally the home of the Village Park Garage. In 1993, the local American Legion Post 193 received permission from Village Council and the Park Board to renovate the existing Village Park garage. Permission was given for the group to use the structure as the Post home and as a community-use space. The North half of the building is now the home of American Legion Post 193, and the South half is used as out Community Center. In 2025, the building was dubbed the Marty and Diane Hura Lodge, in honor of the many years of the Huras' service to the Village of Mantua.
