See the Portage County Board of Elections for more information.

Does the village provide leaf and yard waste disposal?

Sure does! Brush Pickup is on the first and third Wednesday from May 5 (seather permitting) through mid-October; time may vary on holiday weeks. All brush is to be placed at the curb with the cut ends facing the street.  Branches over 4 feet long or 4 inches in diameter will not be picked up.  Brush should be free of stumps, leaves, grass clippings, briars, vines and thorns.  This service is for small branches or limbs that residents have trimmed or fallen in a storm, not for removal of entire trees.  Brush may be placed no more than 7 days before the pick-up date.  Brush placed curbside for extended periods of time may be subject to zoning violations.

Leaf Pickup is on Tuesdays from November through mid-December. Leaves must be bagged with standard 30-gallon heavy duty brown paper bags.

Mulch which has been generated by the Village brush chipping program is available for free to Mantua Village residents only and can be picked up at the Service garage during regular hours.
